Luxor sits about four hours inland from Hurghada, and the drive itself is part of the experience: desert road, then suddenly the green ribbon of the Nile valley. For many visitors this trip is the highlight of the entire holiday.
A standard itinerary crosses to the west bank first, while it is still cool, for the Valley of the Kings and its painted royal tombs, the terraced temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch by the Nile the tour continues to Karnak, the vast temple complex of Amun, and often Luxor Temple as well.
We keep the trip private: your own car and driver, so the pace of the day is yours. Tour guide is not included — the price is for the private car only, though a licensed guide can be arranged separately on request.
